How to Wear Your Bracelet

  1. Open the Clasp:
    • Hold both sides of the bracelet near the clasp.
    • Slide either end to apart vertically to open the bracelet. FOR LEFT END: Slide down; FOR RIGHT END: Slide up
  2. Position Your Wrist:
    • Place the bracelet around your wrist.
    • Bring the clasp ends together.
    • Ensure that the bracelet ends are both positioned on compatible sides. This can be confirmed by looking at the design. The Frontside displays the word "LEGACY".
  3. Close the Clasp:
    • Align the ends and interlock them by sliding them together.

How to Take Off Your Bracelet

  1. Open the Clasp:
    • Hold both sides of the bracelet near the clasp. 
    • Slide either end apart vertically to open the bracelet. FOR LEFT END: Slide down; FOR RIGHT END: Slide up
  2. Remove the Bracelet:
    • Remove the bracelet from your wrist.

How to Adjust Your Bracelet

Determine the Fit:

  • Wear the bracelet and assess how it feels on your wrist.
  • The bracelet should be snug but not too tight. You should be able to insert a finger between the bracelet and your wrist comfortably.

To make the bracelet smaller:

  • Locate the extender (middle piece) attached to the clasp.
  • Open the clasp and detach the extender from the clasp.
  • Reattach the clasp ends directly together without the extender.
  • Be sure to store away the extender in case you need it in the future.
  • Note: Removing the extender adjusts the bracelet to its smallest possible fit and it cannot be made smaller beyond this point.

How to Open, Fill, and Close the Urn Compartment

Your bracelet is designed to securely hold a small memorial keepsake—such as a portion of ashes or a small amount of fur—from your loyal friend. Each bracelet includes an urn filler kit to make this process easier and safer.

What’s Included in the Urn Filler Kit

  • Mini screwdriver – used to open and close the urn compartment
  • Small funnel – helps guide ashes or fur into the compartment 
  • Pusher tool (thin metal rod) – helps gently move contents into place

Opening the Urn Compartment

  • Locate the urn screw
    • On the top edge of the clasp, on the piece engraved with ‘Legacy,’, you’ll see a small screw (this is the sealed urn compartment)
  • Unscrew the compartment
    • Use the included mini screwdriver to gently turn the screw counterclockwise.
    • Set the screw and screwdriver aside in a safe place.

Filling the Urn Compartment 

  • Insert the funnel
    • Place the small funnel into the open urn opening on the bracelet.
  • Add ashes or fur
    • Slowly pour a small amount of ashes or place a small amount of fur into the funnel.
    • The bracelet is designed to hold a symbolic amount, not a full portion.
  • Use the pusher tool if needed
    • Gently use the pusher tool to help guide the contents fully into the compartment.
    • Do not force—slow and gentle pressure works best.

Closing & Sealing the Urn Compartment

  • Remove the funnel
    • Carefully lift the funnel away once the contents are inside.
  • Reinsert the screw
    • Place the rubber-sealed screw back into the opening.
  • Tighten securely
    • Using the mini screwdriver, turn the screw clockwise until snug.
    • Do not overtighten—just enough to ensure a secure seal.

Additional Tips

  • Cleaning Your Bracelet:
    • Clean your bracelet with a soft cloth and mild soap if needed.
    • Let it air dry completely before wearing it again.
  • Water Exposure:
    • While the bracelet is designed for durability, prolonged exposure to water can cause it to weaken over time.
    • Remove the bracelet before swimming or showering to maintain its longevity.
    • If the bracelet is exposed to water, be sure to hand dry it with a soft cloth to remove the water.
