Welcome to our guide on how to wear and adjust your R.E.D. Remember Everyone Deployed Silver Necklace. This guide will walk you through the steps to wear, adjust, and resize your necklace. Follow these instructions to ensure a perfect fit and easy wear.

How to Wear Your Necklace

1. Hold the necklace with the clasp positioned at the back.
2. Open the Clasp: Hold both sides of the necklace near the clasp. Gently slide the ends apart to open the magnetic clasp. Slide either end to apart vertically to open the clasp. FOR LEFT END: Slide down; FOR RIGHT END: Slide up
3. Position Your Necklace: Drape the necklace around your neck so the clasp sits comfortably at the back of your neck.
4. Close the Clasp: Bring the clasp ends together, align the magnetic tracks, and gently slide them back together until they lock in place.
5. Give the necklace a gentle tug to confirm the clasp is fully locked before wearing.

How to Remove Your Necklace

1. Open the Clasp: Hold both sides of the necklace near the clasp. Slide the left end down and the right end up to separate the magnetic clasp.
2. Remove the Necklace: Gently lift the necklace away from your neck and interlock the clasp.

How to Adjust or Resize Your Necklace

The  R.E.D. Remember Everyone Deployed Silver Necklace comes with a custom-designed back closure featuring a 1/2" magnetic slide-together extender link.

Determine the Fit

Wear the necklace and assess how it sits over your chest.

• The standard length of the necklace with the extender attached is 24”.
• If you prefer a slightly shorter, more tailored fit, you can easily remove the 1/2" extender link.
• Please Note: Additional lengths, extension links, or custom sizes are not available for purchase at this time.

To Make the Necklace Shorter (23.5”):

1. Locate the Extender: Identify the 1/2" center extender piece positioned between the two main ends of the clasp.
2. Remove the Extender: Slide the magnetic connections apart to release the extender entirely from both sides of the necklace. 
3. Reconnect the Clasp: Slide the remaining outer clasp ends directly together without the extender. 
4. Storage: Be sure to store the removed extender link in a safe place in case you want to restore the full 24” length in the future.

Additional Tips

• Cleaning Your Necklace:  Clean your stainless steel necklace with a soft cloth and mild soap if needed. Let it air dry completely before putting it back on. 
• Water Exposure:  While your necklace is crafted from durable 316L stainless steel, prolonged exposure to water (such as swimming or showering) can weaken the magnetic clasp elements over time. We recommend removing it beforehand to maintain its longevity. If it does get wet, hand-dry it thoroughly with a soft cloth.
