What is magnetic therapy?
Magnetic therapy is an alternative medical practice that uses static (i.e. unmoving) magnets to alleviate pain and other health concerns.
Benefits of Magnetic Therapy
Magnetic therapy is believed to:
- Relieve pain from arthritis, carpal tunnel, joint problems, and aching muscles
- Decrease inflammation in the joints
- Rid the body of toxins
- Improve blood flow
- Restore energy levels and reduce fatigue
- Promote healthy sleep patterns
- Quiet migraines and headaches
- Improve concentration and memory
Safety Information
Avoid magnetic therapy if you have a pacemaker, defibrillator, insulin pump, or any other implanted electro-medical device. If you’re pregnant or have received a localized cortisone injection within the past 2 weeks over the same area…that’s a big nope, too.
